One of the town's most recognizable landmarks sits on Cedar Point at the entrance to Scituate Harbor. First built in 1811 and replaced in 1819 with the current structure, which stands at 54 feet tall, the Scituate lighthouse adds a unique nautical addition to your wedding photos.

Barker House is a beautiful wedding venue with an indelible place in American history. With roots dating back to 1634, part of the original dwelling is said to be the oldest English-style house in the United States. The heavy beams and strong wooden walls bear witness to its use as a garrison in 1676.

From the first meeting to the midnight toast every little detail was perfection. The team made sure the wedding party was treated like royalty. Our parents said that someone was always asking if there was anything needed and the answer was always no because they had already been a step ahead, and all was executed flawlessly. The room was beautifully decorated, and all our guests raved about the food. The passed appetizers were excellent, and the meals were all perfectly presented and delicious. We are so glad we chose Barker House for our wedding reception.

Barker House is an absolutely perfect place for your special day!!! The ballroom is so gorgeous that you don't need additional decoration! An amazing garden and a great lighthouse and peaceful beach nearby will give you numerous locations for wedding ceremony and photo shoot... We were very lucky to have had our wedding in Barker House! Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!
